Public Ownership
The first constitution of PRC written by Chairman Mao stipulates: “The State-Owned Economy is a Socialist Economy owned by the whole people and a leading force in the National Economy.”
Our current constitution stipulates: “The foundation of the Socialist Economic System of PRC is the Socialist Public Ownership of the means of production", "Our Country insists on Public Ownership as the main body in the Primary Stage of Socialism".
